City Island Park is an ideal oceanfront location for a family outing or get-together of friends; it is partially shaded and has plenty of open spaces for recreational activities. The island park is located on the Intracoastal Waterway beside downtown Daytona Beach. Featured at the park are seven pavilions of various sizes, a sand volleyball pit, eight tennis courts and a children's playground.
