Founded in 1952, the Daytona Beach Symphony Society puts on six internationally focused concerts annually. All performances by the symphony take place at the Peabody Auditorium, located just northwest across the Intracoastal Waterway from the symphony's headquarters. A special internationally renowned musician is often a part of the symphony's performances; the symphony also hosts Daytona's Winterfest, a high-class performing arts exposition.
